Celgard®

Left: Height image, Right: Phase image. Celgard is a microporous, hydrophobic polypropylene membrane whose structure consists of alternating fibers and lamellae. Due to its properties (high burst/tensile strengths, excellent gas transfer) it is used in medical devices functioning as oxygenators. Celgard is a registered trademark of Membrana, 1.4 µm scan.
