Second resonance mode phase overlaid on topography of epoxied natural rubber (ENR) and polybutadiene rubber (BR), 3 µm scan. The darker areas on the image are only apparent when imaging at the second mode phase frequency and should be related to sample the elasticity. Imaged with the MFP-3D AFM.
