AFM is experiencing a current evolution from single to multifrequency excitation and detection schemes to yield more quantitative information about nanoscale material properties. This free workshop, hosted in conjunction with CSIC and the Ricardo Garcia Lab, is a solid introduction to multifrequency imaging that will cover the history, fundamentals and current applications. Lectures and hands-on demonstrations will focus on nanomechanics and multifrequency imaging modes. We’ll also present the latest innovations on video-rate imaging. Demonstrations will be done on the Asylum Research Cypher AFM with blueDrive photothermal excitation.
