The CoolerHeater uses a Peltier element to cool and heat samples between temperature of -30°C up to 120°C. The accessory includes a coolant pump for experiments at temperatures below 0°C. The stage supports samples up to 15 mm in diameter. The sample can be immobilized magnetically, with the use of clamps, or with thermally conductive paste. The accessory connects directly into the Jupiter XR expansion port enabling all the controls and measurement functions to be accessed through the software interface.
